Fit Guide

Use this guide for TecovasA boots, shoes, belts, and hats. Trying on in person is still the surest path; if you order online, start here.

Men’s and women’s boots

Between sizes: take the smaller size. Average width is D. Wide (E or EE): order EE. High instep or high arch: half size up. If you have both, still only go half a size up. Cramped toes: half size up. Excess heel slip with room in the toes: half size down.

Kids

Measure the foot in the afternoon. Leave a thumb’s width in front of the longest toe. Kids’ widths run standard; if a child is in wide sneakers, write us before you order.

Belts and hats

Belts: measure a belt you already wear from the buckle fold to the hole you use. Hats: measure the head just above the ears. If you are between, size up and we can advise on a sweatband.
